Cunningham Memorial Annual Candle Light Memorial Event

The Annual Cunningham Memorial Annual Candle Light Memorial Event is always a breathtaking sight to see. Join the community of friends, families and loved ones on December 2, in volunteering to light luminaries in remembrance of loved ones passed. Beginning at dusk, the public is invited to drive through the cemetery grounds to see hundreds of luminaries strewn across the memorial grounds. It’s an extraordinary event that allows people to come together and remember those who have passed away.

Volunteers are always welcome as they begin lighting the candles around 4 pm. The drive through the memorial park begins at dusk.

There is no charge to see the Luminaries. However, Cunningham Memorial park is asking for canned goods and non-perishable food items as a donation for St. Albans area food pantries this holiday season. Please bring your donations with you when you come to see the luminaries.
