The St. Albans Parks & Recreation Department is Hiring:
Join our team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing the natural beauty and usability of our city’s parks and recreational facilities. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about the outdoors and community service.

Job Description:
As a Parks Department Laborer, you will play a crucial role in:

• Routine maintenance and care of parks, facilities, and equipment.
• Landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching.
• Setting up and breaking down events and programs.
• Conducting minor repairs and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
• Ensuring parks are clean and safe for community enjoyment.
• Adhering to city regulations and safety standards under the supervision of senior staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in landscaping, maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in using maintenance equipment.
• Physical capability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
