General Election - Early Voting Information.
The Kanawha County Clerk has designated October 21 – October 31, 2026 as the early voting period for the upcoming General Election to be held on November 3, 2026.
Early voting for Kanawha County residents is available at St. Albans City Hall (water company), 1499 MacCorkle Avenue, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm and Saturdays, 9:00am - 5:00pm, closed on Sunday.
Please Note: St. Albans City Hall is designated as an early voting location, not a general election location.

ANY REGISTERED KANAWHA COUNTY VOTER MAY VOTE AT ANY EARLY VOTING LOCATION AND MUST SHOW AN ACCEPTABLE FORM OF IDENTIFICATION TO VOTE.

Election & Voting Information
Regular elections for electing the Mayor and members of City Council shall be by non-partisan ballot, and in accordance with the statutes of the State of West Virginia, and shall be held at the same time as County and State primary elections are held. The 2026 primary election is set to be held on May 12th, 2026. There will not be a general election in St. Albans. Candidates who win the primary election will take office, effective July 1, 2024
