The City of St. Albans is accepting applications for temporary and permanent General Laborer positions within the St. Albans Public Works Department.
Job duties include trash collection, street maintenance, brush cleanup, leaf pickup, grass cutting, snow removal and other assigned responsibilities. A current, valid West Virginia driver’s license is preferred but not required.
Starting pay is $11 per hour for temporary employees and $13.8033 per hour for permanent employees. Permanent positions include health, dental and vision insurance, pension benefits and other benefits. Temporary positions are not eligible for benefits.

All employees must complete drug testing before starting employment. Permanent employees must also complete a pre-employment physical and a six-month probationary period.
