Safe Exchange Points Location

The Safe Exchange Points are strategically located at the Saint Albans Police Department (613 MacCorkle Avenue) and the Saint Albans Fire Department (51 Sixth Avenue). These points serve as secure environments for residents to conduct child custody exchanges and safely meet with individual buyers or sellers from online marketplaces.

Both locations are under 24-hour video surveillance and are staffed by first responders every day of the year, ensuring a safe and secure experience for all users.

Community Impact

Ethan’s Eagle Scout Project represents a vital contribution to public safety and convenience in Saint Albans. His commitment to enhancing the well-being of our residents has not gone unnoticed, and we extend our deepest gratitude for his service.

“We’re extremely proud of Ethan and his significant contribution to the community,” said Chief of Police, Marc Gilbert.  “His project provides an invaluable service that will help ensure the safety and security of all residents engaging in custody exchanges or online transactions.”

Thank You, Ethan

On behalf of the St. Albans Police Department and the residents of Saint Albans, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Ethan Cavender. Your Eagle Scout Project stands as a testament to your dedication to community service and will benefit the entire community for years to come.
