ST. ALBANS, W.Va., Oct. 13, 2026 — City leaders, community partners and residents gathered Saturday to celebrate the grand opening of the new Tractor Supply Co. store in St. Albans.
The St. Albans Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the store, located at 203 Pfaff St. Attendees included City of St. Albans officials, first responders, members of St. Albans City Council, West Virginia delegates, Kanawha County commissioners and members of the public.
“This is a great day for St. Albans, and it’s just the beginning of more exciting things to come,” Mayor Scott James said.
The celebration also featured the St. Albans High School Marching Band and cheerleaders, free horse rides and food trucks.
The new store occupies the former Parkway Supermarket property. The City of St. Albans announced Tractor Supply as the property’s new anchor retailer in December 2025 as part of ongoing efforts to return the long-vacant location to productive use.
“This is a great partnership between Tractor Supply and the City of St. Albans, and I think Tractor Supply will do great in our community,” St. Albans Area Chamber of Commerce President Jared Page said.
Tractor Supply Store Manager Stephanie Minor thanked the community for its welcome and expressed the store team’s commitment to serving customers throughout the area.
“We are so proud and thankful to be a part of this community,” Minor said. “I look forward to serving St. Albans and the surrounding areas.”
The opening brings new commercial activity to the former Parkway property and represents another investment in the St. Albans business community
