St. Albans Announces Exciting Lineup for Yak Fest 2024, Featured as One of the Top Summer Events in West Virginia by AAA World Magazine

St. Albans, WV – The City of St. Albans is thrilled to announce the return of Yak Fest, the beloved annual music and outdoor festival, scheduled for June 14-15, 2024. Recently highlighted as one of the Top Summer Events in West Virginia by AAA World Magazine in its latest publication, this year’s festival promises an exciting blend of music, outdoor activities, and family-friendly entertainment along the scenic Main Street of St. Albans.

Dates: June 14-15, 2024
Location: Main Street, St. Albans, WV
Activities: Live music, craft beer vendors, food stalls, kids and family activities, and the Tour De Coal paddling event.

Yak Fest 2024 will feature a dynamic array of musical acts, showcasing both rising stars and seasoned performers. The two-day festival will kick off on Friday, June 14th with a lineup that includes the eclectic sounds of local favorites and national acts. Attendees can look forward to a musical journey that spans genres and generations.

Music Lineup:

  • June 14th
    • 4:00 – 5:00 PM: Bread and Circus – Engage with the soulful melodies of this local artist group known for their captivating performances.
    • 5:30 – 6:30 PM: Hair Supply – Relive the glory of the 80s with this high-energy Hair Band Tribute Band.
    • 7:00 – 8:00 PM: Qiet – Experience the unique blend of sounds that make Qiet a standout act.
    • 8:30 – 10:00 PM: Fletcher’s Grove – End the night with the rhythmic grooves of Fletcher’s Grove, a band with deep roots in the local music scene.
  • June 15th
    • 2:00 – 3:00 PM: Austin Adkins – Don’t miss the heartfelt performances of Austin Adkins, a true musical storyteller.
    • 3:30 – 4:30 PM: Freshly Hatched – Catch the fresh vibes of this up-and-coming band.
    • 5:00 – 6:00 PM: Adam Parker and the Bourbon Cowboys – Get ready for a dose of classic country with a modern twist.
    • 6:30 – 8:00 PM: Corey Hager – Known for opening for country music superstars like Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, Corey Hager brings his acclaimed Nashville sound to Yak Fest.
    • 8:30 – 10:00 PM: Bucky Covington – The night will climax with Bucky Covington, a nationally touring artist and American Idol finalist known for his electrifying performances.

In addition to great music, Yak Fest 2024 will feature an array of local food vendors, craft breweries, and family-friendly activities, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all ages. The festival will also coincide with the Tour De Coal, a popular local paddling event that highlights the natural beauty of the Coal River.
