ST. ALBANS, WV – On February 6th, during the regular City Council Meeting, St. Albans Mayor Scott James swore in Brian Herndon as the newly appointed Ward 5 City Councilman. Mayor James announced the vacancy in January after then-Councilman Mike Mamone resigned, and the Council accepted nominations for the position.
Brian Herndon, an already dedicated member of the St. Albans community, is excited about his opportunity to serve in this new role. He is a St. Albans Parks & Recreation Committee member and will be a great addition to St. Albans City Council.
“I am thrilled to welcome Brian to the City Council,” says Mayor Scott James. “He is passionate about serving our community and commits to making St. Albans a better place for all residents. I am confident that he will be a valuable asset to the Council and will work hard to address the needs and concerns of Ward 5 residents.”
Brian is looking forward to working with the Council and the community to address important issues and make a positive impact in St. Albans. “I am honored to have been appointed to this role,” says Brian. “I am eager to bring my skills and experience to the City Council and work with my colleagues to serve the residents of Ward 5 and the entire St. Albans community.”
The St. Albans City Council is excited to have Brian join its ranks and looks forward to working with him in the months and years to come.
