Lower Roadside Park Closure marked by Park Closed Signs.

St. Albans Parks Announces Closure of Lower Roadside Park For Construction Project

ST. ALBANS, WV – The lower boat launch area at Roadside Park will be closed today, September 6, until January 3, so construction can begin on the boat dock and launch ramp upgrade project. The lower parking lot, performance stage area, and river access area will be closed to the public until the project is completed.

The City of St. Albans Parks & Recreation Department is excited to begin this much-needed project that will improve the boating experience for visitors to Roadside Park and the Kanawha River. The upgrades will include a new boat dock, an improved launch ramp, and increased accessibility and parking areas.
