ST. ALBANS, WV – The St. Albans Police Department cordially invites the community to celebrate the official ribbon-cutting and open house of its new state-of-the-art headquarters at 613 MacCorkle Avenue in St. Albans, WV, on Saturday, January 28th at 10:00 AM. This special event is open to the public.

The St. Albans Police Department’s new headquarters, which has been under construction for the past year, boasts the latest in law enforcement technology and equipment to enhance the department’s ability to serve and protect the St. Albans community.
During the open house, visitors can take a behind-the-scenes look at the facility and learn more about the department’s capabilities and operations. The public will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with the officers who serve the community.
“We are excited to open our doors to the community and show them our new facility,” said Police Chief Marc Gilbert. “The new headquarters will allow us to better serve and protect our community, and we are proud to now have some of the best law enforcement resources in the State of West Virginia, right here in St. Albans. “
Along with the St. Albans Police Department, the St. Albans Municipal Court will also be relocating to this new facility on MacCorkle Avenue. The courtroom will be renamed in honor of the late Councilman Desper Lemon.
All St. Albans residents and the surrounding community are encouraged to come out and see the new headquarters and learn more about the St. Albans Police Department.
