The City of St. Albans is taking proactive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents during the upcoming extreme cold weather. With overnight temperatures expected to drop into the single digits, we will be opening a warming center at Hansford Center on the evenings of Tuesday, January 14, and Wednesday, January 15, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
This warming center is available to provide a safe and warm space for anyone in need during these dangerously cold conditions. Please help us spread the word to ensure that those who may need this resource are aware of its availability.
Important Reminder:
If you have an emergency, please dial 911 for emergencies only.
The City of St. Albans is committed to supporting our community during this severe weather. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to keep everyone safe. Stay warm, stay safe, and reach out to those who may need assistance during this time.
