The City of St. Albans is taking proactive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents during the upcoming extreme cold weather. With overnight temperatures and wind chills expected to drop into the single digits, we will open a warming center at Hansford Center in St. Albans, WV on Sunday, January 19, Monday, January 20, and Tuesday, January 21, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
This warming center is available to provide a safe and warm space for anyone in need during these dangerously cold conditions. We offer warm cots and free coffee to those seeking shelter. Please help us spread the word to ensure that those who may need this resource are aware of its availability.
We also welcome donations from our community to support this effort. Your generosity helps us provide these essential services during extreme weather.
