Annual Doggie Swim on August 19th

The St. Albans Parks & Recreation department is hosting the Annual Doggie Swim on August 19th at the St. Albans City Park Pool in partnership with the Fix’ Em Clinic – Affordable Spay, Neuter, and Wellness Center. The event is a fun-filled day for dogs and their owners, featuring poolside activities like doggie paddle races and a howling contest. All dogs must have up-to-date shots to participate, and admission is $10, with an additional $7 for each extra dog. Treats, toys, and pet vendors will also be available at the event. Come join the wet and wild fun with your furry friends! 🐾🎉🏊‍♂️

Calling all doggos and their awesome owners! Get ready to splash and play at the most pawsome event of the summer!

St. Albans Parks & Recreation is thrilled to invite you and your furry friends to our Annual Doggie Swim on August 19th from 11 am to 3 pm at St. Albans City Park Pool!

In partnership with the Fix’ Em Clinic – Affordable Spay, Neuter, and Wellness Center, we’re hosting a wet and wild extravaganza where your four-legged pals can let their tails wag, paws paddle, and make a big splash!

Safety is important to us! Make sure your furry buddies are all caught up on their shots to join in on the tail-wagging fun. Because, after all, healthy hounds are happy hounds!

Get ready for non-stop action with our poolside activities! From doggie paddle races to belly flop competitions, and even a howling contest (we’re looking at you, talented pups!), it’s a day filled with fur-tastic memories you won’t want to miss!

Admission is just $10, and if you have more than one fur baby, it’s just $7 for each additional pooch! So, bring your whole furry pack and let the tail-wagging shenanigans begin!

Oh, and wait until you see the puppy-friendly goodies! Treats and toys galore will be available, plus a pet vendor village with all the latest and greatest doggy gear!

All proceeds go towards our mission of reducing and eliminating euthanasia in shelters due to pet overpopulation.

Donations graciously accepted upon entry! Needed items: paper towels, laundry detergent, kitchen trash bags, hand soap, cat/dog food, cat litter, and monetary donations. All donations are tax-deductible!
