📍 Nitro Boat Ramp to the St. Albans Boat Ramp, Kanawha River
Decorated boats light up the Kanawha River on Saturday night, December 5. The parade starts at the Nitro Boat Ramp between 6:30 and 7:00 PM and travels upriver past the St. Albans Boat Ramp. Boats then tie up at Lou Wendell Marine for the Great Kanawha River Navy Christmas Party and Award Ceremony.
🎁 Toy Drive for Mountain Mission
The Great Kanawha River Navy is partnering with Mountain Mission in Charleston again this year to collect toys for children in need across the valley. Drop off new toys any time now through Saturday, December 5, 2026, at:
- Chem Valley Machine, 1401 1st Ave., Nitro, WV
- Lou Wendell Marine Sales, St. Albans, WV
- Marmet Auto Service, 8131 MacCorkle Ave., Marmet, WV
- Mountain Mission, 1620 7th Ave., Charleston, WV
On parade night, Navy members will also collect toys at both boat ramps.
