Warming Center Open Jan. 24–26 Due to Extreme Cold and Winter Weather

The City of St. Albans will open a warming center this weekend to help anyone who needs a safe place to stay warm. Forecasted extreme cold, heavy snow, and possible ice may also cause power outages.

Warming Center Dates and Hours

The warming center will be open:

  • Saturday, January 24 at 7:00 p.m.
  • Through Monday, January 26 at 7:00 a.m.

What We Offer

Visitors will have access to:

  • Warm indoor shelter
  • Cozy cots
  • Coffee

Additional Warming Option: KRT Warming Bus (Jan. 26–30)

Our partners at KRT will have a warming bus available:

  • Monday, January 26 through Saturday, January 30
  • St. Albans Bus Depot (6th Avenue)

Donations Are Welcome

Community donations are welcome to help support people seeking shelter during this severe weather.
