St. Albans Christmas Lamp Post Decoration Initiative
The City of St. Albans is excited to invite residents, businesses and groups to spread holiday cheer with the Christmas Lamp Post Decoration Initiative! This seasonal project welcomes the community to add festive touches to Main Street by adopting and decorating lamp posts in their own holiday styles, bringing warmth and charm to the area.

Patty Swango, our project organizer, will assist participants through the simple process of adopting a lamp post. Participants are responsible for creating their unique, holiday-themed displays.

Important Dates:

• Setup Deadline: December 3
• Display Period: Throughout the Christmas season
• Takedown Deadline: December 30 (all decorations must be removed, or they will be discarded)

How to Participate in the Christmas Lamp Post Decoration Initiative:

• Limited Spaces: To adopt a lamp post, fill out the online form at the bottom of this event or contact Patty Swango at (304) 549-4100 or [email protected].
• Note: Participants are responsible for purchasing and maintaining their decorations.
