St. Albans Nitro Labor Day Fireworks

FreeCome join us for a fantastic Labor Day Fireworks celebration on Sunday, September 4th, sponsored by the Cities of St. Albans and Nitro!
The Dick Henderson Bridge (St. Albans/Nitro Bridge) will be closed to vehicular traffic from around 8:30 pm and open to foot traffic from the Nitro and St. Albans’ sides. This will provide pedestrians with an awesome spot to view the show!
The Labor Day fireworks display will be shot off from Roadside Park in St. Albans to offer spectators additional vantage points on both sides of the Kanawha River.
Where to view the St. Albans Nitro Labor Day Fireworks
The lower lot/boat launch at Roadside will be closed all day on September 4th. Boaters will not have access to the boat ramp. The upper part of Roadside will be closing at 6:00 pm to vehicles. Spectators can park at St. Albans Mall and walk over and watch the fireworks. The outside lane of Rt. 60 will also be closed around 6:00 from just east of city hall to the Chevrolet lot of Moses. We ask everyone to please be patient and slow down in the area.
This is going to be a great fireworks display, and we hope to see you there!
