I am writing this from Tampa, Florida, where I am attending the National League of Cities National Conferences and representing the WV Municipal League as its President. St. Albans has had some great events lately, and a great Christmas season is coming up.
The Crawl-O-Ween Pub Crawl was attended by approximately 3000 people. No issues except a good time and a great economic boost for the local businesses!

The Festival of Lights begin Tuesday, Nov. 26th with the Walk-Through; on Wednesday the 27th are the Hayrides through the lights; and then drive-throughs begin Friday, Nov. 29th. On December 6th, there is a Christmas Market on Olde Main beginning at 3:00 and running through 7:00.

The Tree Lighting is at 6:00. The Mayor’s Christmas Concert, featuring Landau Eugene Murphy, begins at 7:00 in The Alban Theatre. Get your tickets early!
We have begun the new water tank project on the East side of town and will soon begin work on the Rams Horn Storm Drain on West end of town. Many other projects are on the horizon as we continue to improve our town!
God Bless each and every one of you— and the City of St. Albans!
