ST. ALBANS, October 28, 2023 – The St. Albans Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the launch of the new Main Street St. Albans tee shirt, designed exclusively by Chamber member Aaron Brown of 1863WV. This limited first edition tee is a celebration of Small Business Saturday 2023 and embodies the spirit of community and local pride.
Available for purchase online from October 28 through November 25 on 1863WV.com, these shirts are more than just a fashion statement. Every purchase directly supports the historic Alban Theatre and its outstanding arts program, a cornerstone of the St. Albans community.
“We’re excited to offer this unique tee as a way for locals and supporters to showcase their pride for St. Albans and its vibrant Main Street businesses,” said Adam Bryan, President of the St. Albans Area Chamber of Commerce. “The collaboration with Aaron Brown of 1863WV has resulted in a design that truly captures the essence of our town.” The idea for the shirts originated with Dana, Pat, and Terri at Village Sampler. They wanted to have Main Street shirts with proceeds from sales going to the Alban Arts program. They talked with Adam and Aaron, and the project got underway! They plan to have new tee shirt designs for each of the coming years.
Community members are encouraged to wear the shirt as a sign of support for The Alban and the numerous Main Street businesses that make St. Albans a special place to live, work, and shop.
In addition to wearing the tee, the Chamber urges everyone to share the news on social media and remind friends and family to shop local in St. Albans throughout the year, emphasizing the importance of Small Business Saturday.
St. Albans is a town of pride and participation. Let’s come together, wear the new tee, and make Small Business Saturday 2023 a day to remember!

About St. Albans Area Chamber of Commerce
The St. Albans Area Chamber of Commerce has been building commerce and community in the St. Albans area since 1932. They work hard to support ALL area businesses and are hoping that businesses in other parts of St. Albans will put together similar projects to promote their businesses. Although it is the historic core of Saint Albans, Main Street is certainly not the only street in town. The chamber wants everyone to shop St. Albans small and local year round!
