Dementia Friendly – St. Albans invites you to a free, community-focused event offering valuable information and support for those impacted by dementia. Held in one of West Virginia’s officially recognized Dementia Friendly communities, this event is designed to empower individuals, families, and caregivers through education, resources, and conversation.

Local experts will be available to answer questions and provide guidance on:

• Dementia care services

• Legal rights and planning

• Brain health

• Resources for veterans

• And more

Participating organizations include:

• Kanawha County Council on Aging

• Putnam County Council on Aging

• Legal Aid

• Alzheimer’s Association

• Veteran’s Affairs

• Dementia Task Force

• Braley Care Homes

• WVU Medicine Neurology

• Trinity Pharmacy

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
