The City of St. Albans has several officers who are responsible for different aspects of the city’s governance. Among these is the Clerk, who is responsible for keeping track of all money received by and paid out to the City, as well as other financial matters. The Clerk also documents the proceedings of city council, and is also has charge of preserving the records, papers, contracts, and other documents belonging to the City.
