Historic Tour of the Ronk Family Maple Syrup Farm

Join us for a captivating tour of the Ronk Family Maple Syrup Family Farm, a historic landmark that has been in operation for an impressive 175 years! Hosted by the St. Albans Historical Society, this event is an opportunity to explore the rich history of the Ronk family, learn about their time-honored traditions, and witness the fascinating process of maple syrup production.
The tour will take place on Saturday, March 11, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. We’d love for you to join us for lunch at Bogey’s in Tornado at 12:00 p.m. prior to the tour; simply RSVP, and we’ll save you a seat!
The Ronk Family Maple Syrup Family Farm is located at 725 Whispering Pines, Alum Creek, and the tour is completely free (excluding lunch and any items you choose to purchase at the farm).
You can RSVP by March 4 to Denise Cyrus at [email protected] or 304.206.1974. Although an RSVP is appreciated, it’s not required, and everyone is welcome to attend regardless of membership.
The tour is expected to last approximately 2 hours, and there will be some walking involved. Transportation won’t be provided, but we encourage carpooling to make the trip more enjoyable and environmentally friendly.
