Lifeguard Training Opportunity – May 16 to 18 in St. Albans

Looking for a way to train for a summer job or build a valuable skill? The American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course is coming to St. Albans and is open to anyone age 15 or older.

This course combines online self-study with hands-on in-person instruction led by professionals from the St. Albans Fire Department, St. Albans Parks and Recreation, and L.G. Lifeguarding.

Here’s what to expect:

• Kickoff session: Friday, May 16 at 5 PM (SAFD Central Station)

• Full training day: Saturday, May 17 at the City Pool

• Final session: Sunday, May 18, starting at SAFD, moving to the pool in the afternoon

Cost: $200 per person
Requirements: Must be at least 15 years old to participate
