The City of St. Albans will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 1, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at the McKinley Recreation Center, located at 3000 Kanawha Terrace in St. Albans, WV.
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments regarding proposed ordinances related to water system improvements, sewer system improvements, related rates, fees and charges, and the issuance of revenue bonds for certain waterworks and sewerage system improvements.
The proposed ordinances include:
- An ordinance approving three sewer system improvement projects and setting forth rates, fees and charges for customers of the City’s sewer system.
- An ordinance approving three water system improvement projects and setting forth rates, fees and charges for customers of the City’s water system.
- An ordinance authorizing the acquisition, construction, financing and issuance of not more than $4,500,000 in Combined Waterworks and Sewerage System Revenue Bonds, Series 2026 A, related to certain waterworks and sewerage system improvements.
All interested persons may appear at the public hearing and be heard regarding the proposed ordinances. The ordinances may also be reviewed at the Clerk’s Office, located at 1499 MacCorkle Avenue.
