Riding with the Police – Bicycle Safety Day

The Saint Albans Police Department invites children ages 5 to 15 to participate in a special Bicycle Safety Day at police headquarters. Hosted in partnership with the 25177 Foundation, Morris Insurance Services, and the Kanawha River Composite MTB Team, this event is designed to promote safe riding habits while having fun.

🚴‍♂️ Event Highlights:

• Officers will speak with young riders about bicycle safety and proper riding practices.

• The Kanawha River Composite MTB Team will guide participants through obstacle and skill challenges.

• After the challenge, riders will enjoy a group ride through town with officers and coaches.

• Complimentary pizza will be served after the ride back at the station.

🎁 Each participant will receive a free bicycle helmet (while supplies last), thanks to the generosity of the 25177 Foundation, Morris Insurance Services, and John’s Cyclery.
⚠️ Please note: Bicycles are not provided.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent/Guardian Requirements:
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at registration and throughout the event.
