The City of St. Albans is accepting applications for the position of Account Clerk II. This is advanced, moderately complex account clerical work. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include answering phones, posting payments, customer billing and collecting of City Services, and crosstraining in the collection of Business License and Business and Occupation Taxes.
The starting salary is $36,281.00 with an excellent benefit package including health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement, and paid sick, vacation, and observed holidays. A six-month probationary period is required. Interested parties must complete a City of St. Albans application.
