As I write this, the Christmas and holiday season is in full swing. I want to thank the local businesses, volunteers, and city employees for making St. Albans a Christmas wonderland during this holiest of seasons. I also would like all the residents and businesses that participated in the decorating contests. From talking to the judges, it was difficult in picking a winner in each ward due to all participants taking their game to the next level.
The ribbon cutting for the new dock on December 19 th was wonderful. We had many elected officials and others in attendance. This new dock is going to be an economic boost to our economy, improve the quality of life for our citizens, and is an added reason that St. Albans has become a destination spot for many! I want to thank the DNR, Landcore Builders, and Chapman Technical Group for making this a reality! We have not set an exact date for the ribbon cutting and open house for the new St. Albans Police Station, but it will hopefully be the first or second week of January.
In closing, I want to wish everyone a very happy and prosperous New Year, and I hope that God continues to bless you and the great city of St. Albans!
