St. Albans has been very busy during the month of October with many events and festivals! The Fall Y’all Chili Cookoff was a great success. It is the biggest crowd that I have seen at this event since I took office. Congratulations, and thanks to the Fall Y’all Committee, the volunteers, the vendors, and chili cookers!
The first weekend of the Haunted Trail had right at 900 people go through between Friday and Saturday nights. Great turnout! There have been many events through the Parks and Recreation for people of all ages. The Fall Festival at City Park was a big success, even though we had to move it from October 14 to the 21st due to the weather.
The Crawl-O-Ween Pub Crawl is scheduled for October 28th on Olde Main from 6:00 until 11:00 pm. Also, on the 28th we will be having our annual Trunk-or-Treat, in conjunction with Maranatha Fellowship, on the Maranatha parking lot. It runs from 4:00 until 6:00 pm.
The SAHS Hall of Fame Inductions are also on October 28th, beginning at 3:00. Congratulations to all of the inductees this year! Halloween Trick or Treat in Saint Albans is October 31st from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Mark your calendars for December 2nd, that is the kick-off for Christmas in St. Albans parade and tree lighting! Halloween
Trick or Treat in Saint Albans is October 31st from 6:00-8:00 pm.
With November approaching, one of my favorite holidays, Thanksgiving, will be upon us before we know it. Let’s
remember what we are thankful for and not be a Debbie or David Downer! God bless each and every one of you, and God
bless the great City of St. Albans!
