The Moving Vietnam Memorial Wall is coming to St. Albans from June 25 through June 29, 2026, hosted by All America VFW Post 6418.
Tentatively scheduled for the former K-Mart parking lot on Rt. 60, this special event will bring a powerful national tribute to our community.
Known as The Moving Wall, this traveling exhibit is a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. It has traveled the country since 1984, giving communities a chance to reflect, remember, and honor the men and women whose names appear on the wall. The exhibit includes more than 58,000 names across 74 panels and gives many visitors an opportunity to experience this meaningful tribute closer to home.

This will be an important time for St. Albans and the surrounding region to come together in remembrance of those who served and those who never made it home. Residents, veterans, families, and visitors are encouraged to make plans to attend and watch for additional details as the date approaches.

VFW Post 6418 is also asking the community to consider making a donation or becoming a sponsor to help support this event.
An opportunity to make a donation honoring a veteran during this event is in the works.
